Burn from 2-4 hours max at a time.
Better Burning Tips
Just like anything in nature our wood wick candles are each unique. They are made with natural, untreated wood and can sometimes be a bit temperamental. Here are some tips to ensure your safe and happy candle burning experience. • Light the wick all the way across, not just on one end. • Make sure your first burn is always to full melt pool (liquid all the way across). This will ensure a subsequent burn to melt across and not tunnel. • Keep away from drafts and on a level surface, and please never move a lit candle. • Keep your wick trimmed! Knock off the black char that is left over from your last burn. The sesh (candle talk for the charred wood part) will not burn again and will just fizzle out. • Relight on an angle and use a clicker lighter.
Upcycling Tip
Did you know, the glass container your candle comes in is a whiskey glass? Save that glass from the recycle bin! You can easily upcycle your empty glass once your candle is done. If you freeze the candle when it’s done the remaining wax will pop or chip out easily. Let it warm back up to room temp and then easily wash any waxy residue off with soap and water. The labels peel off clean most of the time but if they do leave some residue behind you can soak in soapy water and scrub off with your kitchen scrubby or use an essential oil to soften and then scrape off as easily as you would with rubbing alcohol.
